Our Story.

LIFE Bag was born from real time spent on the road.

Originally designed with the needs of airline flight crews in mind, LIFE Bag grew out of nearly two decades of constant travel, unfamiliar destinations, and the understanding that disruptions can happen anywhere.

Our founder, an airline pilot, experienced multiple natural disasters while away from home, including two earthquakes. The second experience highlighted the value of keeping practical emergency essentials close at hand.

On a work trip, vacation, or layover, we often rely on transportation, local services, and nearby supplies. Delays or temporary interruptions can make a compact emergency kit a useful part of a broader preparedness plan.

That realization led to months of research, testing, and development focused on one question: what should a truly practical emergency kit for travel look like?

The result was a compact, travel-ready system built around practical essentials for water, shelter, signaling, basic first aid, and emergency food support during disruptions away from home.
